Biography
Ola is committed to serving communities in so many ways. From her days within university and beyond, she has worked and volunteered in peace, mediation and human rights groups, student government and Canadian non-profits. Currently, Ola works for the United Nations in Zimbabwe is the Founder of The Art of Islam. For her volunteerism and work Ola has recently been awarded The Alberta Council for Global Cooperation’s Top 30 Under 30 Award, The University of Calgary Interfaith Award of Excellence as Distinguished Alumna, and the University of Calgary, Women’s Resource Centre, Award of Excellence as Distinguished Student.
