Today’s interview is with the VP of development for the YMCA in Hamilton. Bryan talks about volunteerism, the joy of giving and why practicing generosity is important and how giving is really about us. He reminds us to think about our roles in the great disparity of the world and why we have to take the time to listen to our hearts.

Biography

Prior to his current career in philanthropy, Bryan developed his interest in building relationships to advance mutual goals in the printing industry in Toronto. A graduate of Ryerson and the Schulich School of Business, Bryan is committed to the encouragement of generosity, and the fullness of life that it brings. He is currently engaged with the YMCA of Hamilton-Burlington-Brantford as VP, Financial Development, and has recently completed his role as Chair, North American YMCA Development Organization (NAYDO).

Bryan is happily married to a beautiful, loving and smart woman, and three daughters who take after their mother.
